Beware of COVID-19 fraud

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, the Canada Anti-Fraud Centre (CAFC) wants to remind Canadians to remain vigilant and be on the lookout for ongoing frauds. Scammers want to profit from consumers' fears, uncertainties and misinformation. They can pose as Government departments, loan companies, charities and other creative means.

Visit the CAFC's info on COVID-19 fraud to protect yourself and report fraud.

Be skeptical of urgent or threatening language and never share your personal or banking information.
