John Welbourn
John Welbourn is Science Department Head at Westminster Secondary School in London, Ontario, where he has created a Grade 9 Science course based on a methodology called þMastery Learning. The program helps students adjust to the transition from elementary school to high school. The course plan sets high, yet attainable standards, gives students multiple opportunities to succeed, and provides regular, thorough and meaningful reports to students and their parents.
