Karen Slevinsky
Karen Slevinsky's students at Jasper Place High School in Edmonton, Alberta have benefitted enormously from their teacher's personal drive to be the best science teacher she could. Attendance and course completion are up, as are marks and studentsþ interest in the sciences. Mrs. Slevinsky has received high praise from colleagues for her teaching methods and from parents who have seen their children develop a love for science.
