Students at R.H. King Academy in Scarborough, Ontario, under the leadership of principal Del Maize, get a well-rounded education that includes quality mathematics and science courses, a computer-literacy program, a mandatory technical credit and courses to develop thinking skills. Female achievement in the sciences is encouraged at the school and a number of former female students are now pursuing further studies in science at university.
