Mrs. Chow has made the best use of limited technology available to her students. Under her guidance, her students created a variety of interesting project such as the school website, the school time-capsule as well as learning resource packages for orphans in Mexico. These projects were unique. They were cross-curricula (Career and Personal Planning, Information Technology, Marketing, Spanish, Challenge (gifted) programs) in nature and involved students in multi-grade classes (grades 9-12). As a result, the school received funding to purchase new technology such as digital cameras, scanners and various types of software.
A firm believer in hands-on learning, Mrs. Chow also uses a number of simulation games, such as laser tag and laser bowling, to spark students' interest in collecting and analyzing data.
Responding to students' interest in sharing their views on current events, she created an online message board. She is also a strong supporter of the school's extra-curricular activities, including drama and sports.
Throughout her career, Mrs. Chow has received numerous awards from business and community leaders for her outstanding contributions to promoting business education.
